It was a fast and furious summer. My Family and I traveled to The Catskills in New York and visited old friends and family. While in that neck of the woods we drove down to Jersey and visited dear friends that we did not get to spend enough time with. Then we went on into New York City, visited more buddies, experienced the new MOMA and also many other great sites of the City. I have not been in years and was surprised by all of the starbucks and other commercial venues around town.

In the studio I have the honor and pleasure of working with the wonderful painter Gail Siptak. (check her web site out - it is listed at the sidebar) I am turning three of her magnificent gouaches into colorful polymer photogravure prints. It is a big challenge because it is a four plate process but the translation of the gouaches to prints are beautiful. She is showing at the New Koelsch Gallery in the Heights during November. They are still building the place on Yale Street. It should be grand. We are going to show the completed prints at Texas Collaborative at the same time as her November show.

More news... I have work accepted in the Delta National Small prints Exhibition which will be held at Arkansas State University's Bradbury Gallery. The Exhibition will be held October 19- November the 20 and the Juror is Judith Hecker, Assistant Curator of Prints and illustrated Books, The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
