I have the Honor and privilege of being selected forAmistad II, a Group show, which is taking place in Arequipa, Peru . The show run is September 23 thru October 23, 2009. It is sponsored by Centro Cultural Peruano Northamericano.Amistad II was curated by Jim Edwards of HBU, Gus Kopriva of Redbud Projects and Max Boyd Harrison of Gallery M Squared. The purpose of this exhibition is to promote culture awareness between the two lands of Peru and Texas. I will be making the Journey to Arequipa for the show.The group I am going with will also be traveling to Colca Canyon one of the deepest canyons in the world at 13000 ft. elevation. Houston’s elevation is 43 ft. We will be staying in Arequipa and Lima. Also SmackdownII, Houston vs. Dallas is being organized and will take Place January 16 at two venues El Cento College and Mighty Fine Arts January 16 thru February 21, 2010
